Cassandra Klebanoff, PsyD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Training Director

Dr. Klebanoff is a licensed clinical psychologist with a passion for supervision and training. She began supervising early in her career while working at various college counseling centers where she received specialized training in clinical supervision. She earned her Psy.D. at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she trained at residential, high school and college settings. She completed an APA-accredited internship at Indiana University and her postdoctoral training at Tufts University.

Dr. Klebanoff believes that the foundation of therapy and supervision is based on having a trusting relationship, where there is openness and a felt sense of support. It is important that her supervisees feel safe to be their authentic selves while in a nonjudgmental environment where they can be heard and validated. Her supervision style is aimed to help therapists gain insights into the way they work and see themselves in the process of therapy. Often there is a focus on themes and countertransference issues as they pertain to the therapeutic process, with the ultimate goal of deepening understanding of how we can best use ourselves to help our clients achieve their goals.

Dr. Klebanoff’s practice specializes in working with a diverse clientele, specifically with people who identify as LGBTQ+. She also has an interest in working with people on all aspects of personality and sexual identity. Dr. Klebanoff also has intensive training in the treatment of trauma, working with survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse and domestic abuse. Currently, she uses her training to specialize in work with relational trauma and complex trauma.
